Overview
Returns & Refunds Policy
We take pride in the quality of the products we offer and want every customer to shop with complete confidence. If something isn’t right, our returns process is designed to be fair, transparent, and hassle-free.
Change of Mind Returns
In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA), you may return eligible items within 7 days of delivery.
To qualify for a return:
- Items must be unused, unworn, and uninstalled
- Products must be returned in original condition, with all packaging, manuals, tags, and seals intact
- Items must be in a resalable condition
Products showing signs of use, installation, or handling beyond reasonable inspection cannot be accepted.
Items Not Eligible for Return
Due to hygiene, safety, and technical considerations, the following items are non-returnable unless faulty:
- Triathlon suits, swimwear, base layers, and socks once worn or opened
- Helmets once worn or if safety seals are broken
- Nutrition, supplements, and consumable products
- Wear-and-tear items including tyres, tubes, sealant, brake pads, chains, and cables
- Custom, special-order, or cut-to-size items
Bicycle Components
All bicycle components must remain uninstalled and unused.
Once a part has been fitted, greased, wired, or ridden, it is considered used and cannot be returned unless defective.
If you are uncertain about compatibility or fitment, we strongly encourage contacting us before installation. Our team is always happy to assist.
How to Request a Return
To initiate a return, please email sales@capemulti.co.za with:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for return
You will receive return instructions within 1–2 business days. Returns sent without prior approval may be declined.
Return Shipping
- Return courier costs for change-of-mind returns are the responsibility of the customer
- We recommend using a reliable, trackable courier service
- We cannot accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected:
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Original delivery charges are non-refundable
Exchanges
Exchanges for alternative sizes or products are subject to availability.
If an exchange is not possible, a refund will be issued instead.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, please notify us within 6 months of delivery, in line with the CPA.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear supporting images or video
We will arrange a repair, replacement, or refund, and cover all applicable return shipping costs.
Manufacturer’s Warranty
All products sold are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.
Warranty terms, duration, and coverage are determined by the manufacturer and may vary by brand and product. Manufacturer warranties typically cover manufacturing defects and do not apply to:
- Normal wear and tear
- Improper installation, use, or maintenance
- Crash damage or accidental damage
- Modifications or misuse
Warranty claims may require inspection, assessment, or approval by the manufacturer or their authorised distributor. Proof of purchase is required.
